Course Objectives:
Many people find the fetal heart the most challenging component of the anomaly scan. We want to help you to improve your skills and confidence. A team of experts from Edmonton and Calgary will deliver lectures specifically focused on assessment of fetal heart structure, function and rhythm.
During the workshop, you will be shown examples of normal and abnormal fetal hearts and tips to hone your skills in performing basic fetal heart assessments.
The course will include lectures and real-time scanning focused on comprehensive assessment of the fetal heart during obstetrical ultrasound screening and is tailored for sonographers, radiologists, obstetricians and trainees.
