To submit a proposal for new research:
- Download and complete the appropriate proposal form here:
- Submit your project via the Submit New Research page here
- You should receive feedback within 10 days of the quarterly RCC conference call. (For details, read the Manual of Operations)
- If the project is accepted, it will be posted on the FHS website recruiting members who want to be a part of the study group
- Download the Full Proposal Application and Authorship Attachments; during this phase, you will receive guidance from the RCC Advisors
- Work with your Study Group (all FHS members who express desire to participate in the Study after seeing the Concept Proposal) and your Advisors to develop a Full Proposal. This should be an IRB and Grant-ready (if applicable), proposal. Authorship should be decided during this phase.
- Submit full proposal for review and approval, deadline for submission is 6 months from time of acceptance of the concept proposal for retrospective studies and 12 months for prospective studies
- You should receive feedback within 10 days of the quarterly RCC conference call. (For details, read the Manual of Operations)
- Once approved, all relevant forms will need to be completed including IRB, BAA, possible DUA
- Once approved, consultation with the DCC will be initiated to build the data collection fields
- Once the project data collection plan is finalized, the project will be posted on the FHS recruiting additional members who want to submit data
